Establishment of Lusto Translations, with the activity in the living room of a rented apartment.
We get in touch with the world of technical translations, by signing a contract with a large manufacturer of agricultural equipment. It is practically the beginning of our adventure in the translation market. We translate into multiple language combinations, manuals, brochures and data sheets, commercial and marketing texts, all closely related to the agricultural machinery market.
We sign the first important contract with a company organising international events, which also means our launch on the market of interpretation services.
We sign the first client from overseas and due to the contractual obligations we discover the miracle of assisted translation programs. We decide to never work any other way.
We are honored to find out that we had the highest turnover among the companies providing translation services in Bacău County. Success came to mind and we opened our headquarters in Los Angeles, California.
We focus on clients in the IT field, from the United States, we translate technical documentation, we specialise in software, app and web localisation services, we understand better and better what translation services mean beyond Romania’s borders.
We are evolving, translating the largest project we have ever translated, over 3500 pages of legal documentation, for the European Court of Human Rights. We reach 1500 collaborating translators.
Because we love technology, we focus again on software development companies and we have the most interesting project, namely the translation of artificial intelligence memories.
We work mainly in the field of information technology, we create glossaries and translation memories, we automate and agree with GDPR regulations.
Who doesn’t love 2020? We also translated Sars-COV2 Tests and overall, for us, it really wasn’t such a bad year. We like to work from home anyway. Be healthy!
